    Hanna - 1) I am so glad to see the Indiana AIAA section active in this forum. Thank You!

                   2) Ft. Wayne will be a great show - assuming weather holds. For those who have not witnessed a Thunderbirds or Blue Angels show - absolutely amazing what men (women) and machines can do.

      

                   3) You might want to consider a late fall/winter meeting at the Rolls-Royce Heritage Trust, Allison Branch Exhibition.We have done several dinner meetings [Pizza, Tacos, or even catered fried chicken / etc] for about 30 - 40 people. Tour the exhibition - have your meeting. Lots of parking, and it is FREE for the tour and room - you work out the food.  463-202-2602

    If it's good weather, I'd be interested in going!

    I am a little disappointed the Thunderbirds are the only jet performers - last time I went, the 122FW did an A-10 demo (they've since transitioned to the F-16) and the F-100 did a few flying passes.  I also remember it taking nearly 2 hours to leave the parking lot!

    I went to that air show back when they still had A-10's at the 122nd FW.  They did a fun little demo and the F-100 did a few afterburner passes.  It also took nearly 2 hours to get out of the parking lot at the end so be prepared for that!
