Aerospace Cybersecurity Capture-the-Flag Challenge

When:  Jan 22, 2021 from 12:30 to 16:30 (ET)
SCITECH Aerospace Cybersecurity Capture-The-Flag (CTF), developed by Embry-Riddle, is a competitive learning lab for aerospace professionals of all skill and experience levels. Participants will solve general cybersecurity challenges and then move on to aerospace-specific challenges such as decrypting navigation data and finding bugs in satellite ground station systems.

  • Support and assistance will be available in this competitive environment, where successful completion of cybersecurity challenges and accumulation of points will be tracked in fun, competitive environment.
  • Individual or team (10-person max) participation is supported.
  • Amazon gift card(s) will be awarded to the winning individual or team!


Platform: Zoom will be used for event moderation, participant and team communication, and chat/file sharing. The CTF exercise itself will be hosted on a stand-alone cloud platform.

Once your application is reviewed and all teams have been formed or assigned, you will receive an email asking you to officially register for the event through Zoom. There is no charge to participate in SCITECH Aerospace Cybersecurity CTF.
