The American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics Greater Huntsville Section (AIAA GHS) recently partnered with the Alabama Scholastic Competition Association (ASCA) to help save the State Championships for Alabama Academic Quiz Bowl from inevitable cancellation during the COVID-19 pandemic. AIAA GHS did this by hosting the two large, traditionally in-person tournaments — one for middle school and one for high school — through Zoom sessions and Buzzin.live, an online buzzer system.
