International Observe the Moon Night

International Observe the Moon Night is an annual worldwide public event that encourages observation and appreciation of the Moon. All are invited to observe the Moon, learn about NASA planetary science and exploration, and celebrate cultural and personal connections to our nearest neighbor.

The AIAA Greater Huntsville Section (GHS) is inviting members and their guests to attend what is sure to be a fun and educational evening.  This event will take place from 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM on Saturday, October 8th at the US Space and Rocket Center's Davidson Center for Space Exploration.  The event includes:

    • hands on activities
    • face painting
    • mirror LED robot show
    • photo booth
    • DJ dance party
    • Janet Ivey from Janet's Planet (PBS)
    • telescopes to view the moon
