This spring, GHS will hold elections for the 2023-2024 council year. We have a number of open positions which are listed below. We're hosting a second webinar on Wednesday, March 29th at 7:00 PM to provide an overview of these positions and the operations of the council. Serving on council is a great opportunity to develop leadership skills, help carry out the work of the institute and plan activities which benefit our section and the broader aerospace community.
Open council positions for 2023-2024:
Chair - 1 year term
Vice Chair - 1 year term
Secretary - 1 year term
Treasurer - 1 year term
Vice-chair, Mobile chapter - 2 year term
Education director - 2 year term
Public Policy director - 2 year term
Liaison to Professional Societies - 2 year term
Pre-college outreach - 2 year term
