The Peninsula Engineers Council |
The Peninsula Engineers Council (PEC) is an inter-society council comprised of representatives from organizations dedicated to strengthening and promoting the engineering, profession in the Peninsula area. The member organizations consist of 23 local chapters of engineering and technical societies, a local science and education foundation, and three government organizations. Information on the PEC member organizations may be found throughout this program. |
Engineers' Club of the Virginia Peninsula |
ECVP, Engineers’ Club of the Virginia Peninsula, was formally organized on April 11, 1940, and was incorporated under the laws of the State of Virginia on September 24, 1943. The purpose of the club is to act for the mutual betterment of the members of the engineering profession living on the Virginia Peninsula and vicinity; to stimulate a greater interest among engineers in the welfare of the community, state, and nation; to assist in the solution of public questions involving engineering and allied sciences; to promote advancement of the arts and sciences connected with engineering; and to encourage communication among members of the Club. |
