  • Career & Professional Development: Cecil Mellanson Nov 29, 2018

    AIAA HRS Career & Professional Development Seminar: Lunch and Learn with Cecil Mellanson. Cecil D. Mellanson was born in the Caribbean and raised on the Island of Antigua. Cecil came to live in Brooklyn, NY in 1967 where he initially worked as an auto mechanic. In 1970, Cecil was drafted into the US Army. He served 2.5 years for the Army before enlisting with the US Navy where he served 23 years. Cecil began working at NASA Langley in the year 2000 as an Aviation Technician on the Boeing 757. He presently serves in the Research Services Directorate as the Facility Coordinator of B1244 (the hangar). Cecil will share lessons he has learned during a 51 year career.
