Hello AIAA HRS Members,
We are looking for volunteers to help out with some hands-on engineering activities at our booth for the JLHR Tour of Trucks Event.
- Event Date and Time: Sunday, April 23, 2023, 11:00 am – 3:00 pm
- Volunteers would show up at 10:30 am
- Location: Langley Speedway, 11 Dale Lemonds Dr, Hampton, VA 23666
- Activity: Straw Rockets, Foam Gliders, or Puff Mobiles (weather dependent)
- Volunteers will learn how to build these in the 30 minutes before the doors open and then teach participants how to make their own
- Weather depending, we can also launch these in groups for a little friendly competition
- Lunch will be provided by the event
- Entry to the event is free for the first 8 volunteers
- Event is outdoors and occurs rain or shine!
