  • "Mars Habitat" Art Contest

    The AIAA Hampton Roads Section is hosting its annual art contest! This year, we’re exploring what living in space may look like. NASA wants to send people to Mars… What kind of habitat will they live in? Show us your ideas! Design your Mars habitat using whatever art media you like: paper and pencil, modeling clay, popsicle sticks, crayon, computers, etc.


    This contest is open to all school-aged children from Kindergarten to 12th grade (or equivalent), limited to one entry per student. Three (3) prizes will be awarded to the top entries submitted in each of the three age divisions (Grades K-5, 6-8 and 9-12). The first place winners will each receive a check for $60. The second place winners will each receive a

    check for $30. The third place winners will each receive a check for $15. To see the full rules for the contest, please see the release form located: __<insert link to release form posted>__
