  • Our October Events Are Here

    We’d love to see you at some of AIAA Houston’s October 2024 public events. 

     

    Our Networking and Social event comes relatively early for a third Thursday. We’ll gather at Nobi Public House in Webster, TX on Oct. 17 from 530pm to 7pm or later. Food and 2x drink tickets on us – no membership required. And we’ll again offer an AIAA-member-only door prize – two pairs of Wings Over Houston general admission tickets. Give an AIAA executive officer your name and email when you arrive, and enjoy the evening. 

     

    Our virtual lunch-n-learn series on NASA’s Great Observatories will continue with “The Hubble Space Telescope: Unveiling a Magnificent Universe” by Dr. Jennifer Wiseman, Hubble Senior Project Scientist. Sign up to receive the virtual event details here

     

    And we’ll kick off the month with a booth at Johnson Space Center’s “JSC 101” Community Fair at the Gilruth Center, where AIAA Houston executive officers will showcase the section’s phenomenal activity to new hires and interns across the JSC community. 

     

    SpaceGeekSpeak’s Saturday morning virtual coffee chats continue within all of this work week activity.

    • (Tue. Oct. 15) “JSC 101” Community Fair; AIAA Houston will have a booth presence for new hires and interns within the JSC community. Gilruth Center, 12pm-130pm CST. 

    • (Thur. Oct. 17) Networking + Social at Nobi Public House 530pm-7pm or later (241 E NASA Pkwy, Webster, TX 77598). Food and 2x drink tickets on us – no membership required; AIAA-member-only door prize – two pairs of Wings Over Houston general admission tickets

    • (Tue. Oct. 22) “The Hubble Space Telescope: Unveiling a Magnificent Universe” lunch-n-learn with Dr. Jennifer Wiseman, Hubble Senior Project Scientist; 11am-12pm virtual only 

    • (Sat. mornings) SpaceGeekSpeak virtual coffee chats 

  • AIAA September Social

    Network with aerospace professionals and students from across Houston Thur. Sept. 19 at Nobi Public House.

    We’ll offer free 2x drink tickets and table food to all attendees, no AIAA membership required.

    And at the end of the night we’ll give away two pairs of Wings Over Houston tickets via an AIAA member-only raffle. All you have to do is show up, enter your name at the AIAA Houston table, and enjoy the evening.
