I would like to congratulate the students in the five high school teams who prepared for and competed at the first New England Aerospace Robotics Competition (NE ARC)!
Also congratulate the NE ARC organizing team, and our Vice-Chair Allison Tsay, for a successful conclusion of the first competition at Saint Anselm College!
On April 23, 2022, five teams of high school students from Massachusetts and Maine spent four months building and programming drones for the competition. They have been working on semi-autonomous drones programmed to recognize shapes and objects on a course and piloted another drone that an operator maneuvers to pick up tennis balls.
