Please join us this month when Jeff Wynn, retired Eastman Kodak General Manager, discusses the 50-
year evolution of NASA spaced-based astronomical telescope observatories – Hubble (visible), Compton
(gamma rays), Chandra (X-rays) and Spitzer (infrared) – and the wonders of the universe they have explored.
Jeff started his career at Kodak working on NASA’s Lunar Orbiter camera system and the design and manufacture of spaceborne optical telescopes for highly classified NRO reconnaissance missions. He
later served as the Program Manager of NASA’s Chandra Telescope for which he received a NASA Public Service Medal. He has an AAS degree from Alfred State College, a BS degree from RIT and over 47 years of experience in the development of large aperture space-based optical telescope systems.
