Today’s aircraft and avionics are a product of more than a hundred years of technological evolution.  We’ve seen extraordinary progress in speed, range, utility, and safety.  Many General Aviation pilots are flying aircraft models and navigation systems that didn’t exist 10 years ago and, Industry-wide, pilots are challenged to keep up with the pace of evolution.  Humans don’t evolve as rapidly as technology so, as we go forward, we must consider the total aviation transportation system of aircraft, avionics, airspace system, and – most importantly – pilots.  That’s why Human Factors is in a very real sense – The Final Frontier.

Join us for a preview of a fascinating new series of Human Factors online courses from the Australian Civil Aviation Authority and the FAA Safety Team – FAASTeam.
