It's time to declare your intent to make a presentation at the AIAA Orange County 15th annual local one-day conference and banquet.  Help make this event a success once again by actively participating and making a presentation.  We do not require a written paper and accept material that has already been presented at other conferences.  Dig out that old presentation, come show off your stuff and stir up some intellectual conversations with your colleagues in the local industry.  Students are encouraged to present their thesis or project work.  More details, and how to submit your intent-to-present, due March 30th, can be found below.

Three renowned invited keynote speakers will add luster to this event!

Event Theme
Southern California has had a rich history of leadership and innovation in the aerospace industry.  Many aircraft, spacecraft, missile, and space exploration programs were conceived and executed here within a several mile radius of each other.  The amount of talent, experience and expertise that resides in the area is immeasurable.  However, the nature, landscape and focus of the local aerospace industry are rapidly changing.  The objective of the AIAA Southern California Aerospace Systems and Technology (SoCal ASAT) Conference is to bring together seasoned and new engineers, researchers, leaders, managers, academics, and students, and provide a forum to exchange new ideas, review achievements, and chart a new course for aerospace in the area.  Come share your expertise and insights with other local professionals and tap this unprecedented resource.  If you are a student this is an ideal opportunity to showcase your research, sharpen technical presentation skills and meet professionals in the field.
Evening Banquet
The AIAA Orange County Section Annual Banquet highlighting our activities during the past year and celebrating the achievements of some of our members is held in the evening following the conference.  A guest banquet speaker, to be announced, will give the evening presentation.  Members as well as non-members are welcome.
High School Poster Displays
High school students are invited to present their science projects or science fair entries in our poster display area.  Come show off what you've done and meet professionals in the industry and academia.  A special discounted rate of $30 for the conference is available to high school students with a poster display.  For more information or to reserve your spot, contact Mr. Dino Roman at dino.roman@boeing.com
Gohardani Presentation Award in Aeronautics and Aerospace
All presenters in a scheduled track are eligible for the Gohardani Presentation Award in Aeronautics and Aerospace, sponsored by the Springs of Dreams Corporation.  It is awarded to the speaker with the most exceptional all-around presentation judged on content, organization, and delivery.  This monetary award will be presented during the dinner banquet along with a certificate.
Call-for-Presentations
