"Leading the Crew: Robots as Human Partners"

This webinar will explore the synergies of robotic and human exploration at the Moon and Mars, highlighting the way in which robot precursors are critical for subsequent human explorers. In addition, we will discuss the ways in which humans 'in the loop' will markedly improve the efficiency of robotic scientific exploration, expand the envelope of exploration, and capture the attention and imagination of Earth's global community. We'll review both human and robotic missions including Lunar Trailblazer; Artemis Orion, Gateway, and Lander; Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter (MRO), Insight, Mars 2020, and Mars Sample Return (MSR); and Mars Base Camp exploration orbital and surface missions. And, we'll focus on emerging technologies that make this unprecedented science possible. By learning more about our solar system, we're learning more about our home planet. Humans and robots working together make it possible.
