  • 1.  Job Shadow / Mentoring for High School Students

    Posted 04 Oct, 2024 14:24

I teach at Monarch High School in Louisville and am currently seeking job shadow / mentoring / mini-internship opportunities in aerospace for several students (juniors and seniors). If you or your company might be willing to connect, or if you have ideas for how high school students can engage with the aerospace industry, please let me know. Thanks for your suggestions!

Hello! While I don't have a Job Shadow option available, we would love for the students you mention to consider coming to Go For Launch! in December at the Colorado Air & Space Port where they will get to work with many people in the Aerospace Industry including an Astronaut

    Hi Susan!

I'll keep my ears open for other opportunities, but I wanted to share the upcoming Pathfinder Conference information with you. This one-day conference-like event is a great chance for high school and community college students to meet and learn from local aerospace professionals. They'll discover various educational and career paths in the aerospace industry.

Students can register here: 2025 Pathfinder Conference Registration.

Here is a link to the flyer if you are comfortable sharing it with your students and colleagues.

Please let me know if you have questions!

    Best,

If you're in the greater Denver area there is an opportunity for you to work with an Astronaut and other Space Industry professionals at Go For Launch! in April....
