Congratulations to all of the North Texas rocket teams (UTA, UTD, SMU) who competed at the Spaceport America Cup, the world’s largest intercollegiate Rocket Engineering conference and competition with over 1700 students from 150 colleges from around the world. All three teams successfully completed launch & recovery of their team-designed rockets. 1st time Spaceport Cup competitor UTD and SMU both competed in the 10K’ class while UTA competed in the 30K’ class. For many years, the AIAA North Texas section has sponsored several Texas teams.
