Howdy AIAA Student Members!We have a couple of great summer AIAA events coming up in July in North Texas:1. Mixer with Vertical Flight Society (VFS) - Wednesday, 16 JulyFREE for students! Bell is a major aerospace company in the area so this will be a good opportunity to start making those network connections for future internships and jobs. Please see attached flyer for more information and plan to join us.2. Moon Day – Saturday, 19 JulyOur annual, award-winning STEM event is a good way to not only help kids get interested in aviation but also have fun and meet some other students and professionals including engineers and test pilots. We need your assistance to help kids make paper airplanes, fly them on the Flight Test Range, and then compute the resultant velocity. We are again planning for the Lockheed Martin F-35 simulator so you can fly it yourself to see how easy it is to operate the 5th generation fighter. Please see below for more information. Just wear some jeans, sneakers, and T-shirt (maybe with your school name on it) and we supply the lab coat.
