Aerodynamics Senior Researcher with over 10 years of experience in both academia and the aerospace industry. Has a vast expertise in Aerodynamics, Aeroacoustics, and Fluid Dynamics. Highly experienced in performing flow measurements (PIV, PLIF, etc.) and CFD simulations. Holds a Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology (2020). In 2023, held a postdoctoral fellow position at the University of Toronto Institute for Aerospace Studies, studying the aeroacoustics of high-lift wing devices.
Currently, Hadar Ben-Gida leads the R&D in the IAF on weapon bays, aeroacoustics, and hypersonics by means of advanced CFD and wind-tunnel measurement capabilities. Moreover, Hadar Ben-Gida holds a Research Fellow position in the Faculty of Aerospace Engineering at the Technion and is a visiting Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Aerospace Engineering at TU Delft.
