As a Cuban refugee who flew away from Communism and lack of opportunities, I thank my parents every day for their bold and brave decisions to guarantee freedom and opportunities for me. I also thank the education system here in the US and my way to return the blessing is by giving hope to those brilliant minds who do not have the opportunities to be inspired and do cool things. I am teaching 230 Orphan kids in Kenya to build robots and to recycle parts and components; I shared with them my parts and pieces for them to be able to start. I founded the program and company https://www.sparktechtutoring.com to get high school students from our magnet program to collaborate by tutoring. I am currently the Captain of our drone team and Part of The Knowledge Society, a group of young professionals around the world who get together to figure out how to solve the world's problems with science.
As a first-generation future engineer, I see Aerospace as an expression of freedom. I have always loved space-related subjects and research and hands-on working with a team is what I love the most. my hobbies: Composing music and listening to music- video games-Running, doing meditation, and most of all spending quality time with my friends.
