    Dear CoI,

there is the opportunity to have virtual community of interest meetings throughout 2026 similar to the once we had in 2025. In order to make these meeting as impactful as possible for you, we would like to invite all of you to suggest topics that you think should be addressed during one (or multiple) of these meetings.

So far we have scheduled or thinking about:

    • SciTech 2026 online recap - 29th January
    • Presentation of reference data set for CFD model form uncertainty computation - date TBD

We will also have an in-person meeting at AVIATION 2026 - date and time not confirmed yet.

Please reply directly here if you want to bring up another topic or reach out to the organizing team.

    Best Regards,

Philipp Bekemeyer on behalf of the organizing team

    Dear Philipp,

Thank you for coordinating the meeting.
I'm not sure whether this will become a topic for the meeting or part of the FAQ, but I would like to request information regarding the followings:
    1. What is the expected level of variability in the flight conditions (Altitude or Re number, Mach number, angle of attack, and sideslip angle) during the flight tests?
I would like to use this information as a reference when defining the parameter ranges for the UQ analysis.
Related to this topic, I would like to know about details of general methods (ex. structural/flight tests or analysis) to show compliance to the target regulations if possible.
    2. Is there any reference data available for validating the structural model?
    Best regards,

    Hidemasa,

Thank you for your questions. We will indeed be providing more detailed responses in a future version of the FAQ document, but for now here are some high-level responses:

    1. The question of flight condition variability will be addressed in a document describing the reference data, when it is available. As mentioned in recent full community meetings, we expect to release the reference data at the end of Q1 2026.
    2. The organizing team has decided that model form uncertainty calculations will not be required for the structural model; hence, reference data will not need to be provided. Uncertainties pertaining to structures such as the internal radome pressure and material properties will be communicated at a future date, likely at the same time as the aero reference data.

    Regards,

    John

    Dear Philipp,

thank you for sending out this request. Considering that additional material will be provided for the structural model and the reserve factor calculations as mentioned in a paralle discussion. I would suggest also having a meeting to discuss the provided material once this is made available.

    Kind regards,

Great idea Ari. We will add the structural model topic to our list of meeting topics this spring.

    Thanks,
