    Dear Participants,

    A document containing the reference data to be used for the structural aspects of the Challenge Problem has been uploaded to the Website (Uncertainty Quantification For Certification by Analysis), under "Distribution Data for Uncertain Structural Quantities".  Let us know if there are any issues, questions, or comments.

    Thanks a lot for posting! I am still unclear where exactly the reference point for the simple model as well as the venting hole are located. If you could post the exact coordinates that would be greatly appreciated.

    Markus,

    The coordinates of the reference point are:

       X = 1694.5 in

       Y = 0

    Let me know if you have more questions.

    Thanks a lot for the quick reply! I also need the z-coordinate as well as the (x,y,z) location of the venting hole if possible.

    Thanks!

    Markus,

    You can use the following coordinates for the vent locations:

       X = 1708 in

       Y = +23/-23 in

       Z = 342 in
