Subject: 2026 AIAA GHS Call for Award Nominations
Fellow AIAA members and colleagues,
Each year the Greater Huntsville Section solicits nominations for its Section Awards. AIAA Section Awards are an outstanding way to recognize the accomplishments and achievements of colleagues and co-workers. This year, we encourage you to consider nominating someone that you know for one of our eight awards.
The GHS Awards Committee recommends recipients to the Section Council for approval, and the awards are then presented at the Annual Council Installation and Awards Dinner. This year's 72nd Annual Section Awards Banquet will be held on Friday May 8, 2026 at the Huntsville Botanical Garden Carriage House. Please save the date.
The full "Call for Nominations" and forms to be used in submitting a nomination are attached. Nominations must be received no later than March 31, 2026. Nominations may be sent to joe.majdalani@auburn.edu with copy to distribution@hsv-aiaa.org
