Hello. I am pleased to announce the publication by Springer of my textbook "Structural Dynamics of Liquid Rocket Engines." I wrote this relatively-short text to fill a need in the community for a book to assist both "fresh-outs" with little background in Structural Dynamics as well as experienced professionals in other aspects of the discipline who have been tasked with understanding the complex dynamics of rocket engines. The first section is a theoretical background focused on the basics and the specific sub-disciplines needed, e.g., cyclic symmetry. The rest of the book details which analyses are needed and how they are performed for turbomachinery, combustion devices, engine systems loads, and other aspects of these fascinating machines, and includes many real-world examples. It is available either directly from Springer (eBook), in either electronic or hardback form, and will soon be available from Amazon as well. Neither NASA nor myself receive any compensation for the book, and it was written as a public service.
Best regards,
Andy
