Hello GHS Members,

Last Thursday evening we had a presentation on the Aero-Optical Evaluation of Notional Turrets in Subsonic, Transonic and Supersonic Regimes by Dr. Bill Coirier.  This is presentation describes the CFD analysis (and code development) of the evaluation of the Aero-optics of the turrets.  

Above is the link to the video in the GHS Engage Library.  Next to it, in the library, are the powerpoint charts.  This package would be a great topic for a class or a student chapter meeting.  

Thank you all who attended in person and online.  It was a very cold and rainy evening, so thank you for who braved the elements.  

Thank you to Preston Crumbly and the folks at National Center for Defense Manufacturing and Machining (Huntsville) for providing the meeting space and the tech support.  Those who attended in person were given a quick tour of the facility.  That was greatly appreciated (thank you Preston).  

Anyone that has a idea for a future talk, please let me know.  We are trying to bring in topics of interest to our membership.
