About our speaker: Dr. Seyyed Saman (Sam) Salehian is serving as a tenure-track Assistant Professor at the Aerospace Engineering Department of Tuskegee University, Alabama, since November 2020. He obtained his Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (ERAU) in August 2020. He had previously obtained his master's degree in aerospace engineering from ERAU with distinction in May 2016. His research areas of interest include Computational Aerodynamics, Aeroacoustics, and Multiphase Flows. He has authored and co-authored various journal publications and conference papers in International Journal of Aeroacoustics, Applied Sciences, and AIAA. He has served as a reviewer for various journals including International Journal of Aeroacoustics, Fluids, Atmosphere, Processes, Defense Technology and AIAA conference proceedings. He is currently involved in research activities funded by NASA and Department of Defense conducted at Tuskegee University and collaborates with the research carried out by the Aerospace Engineering Department at ERAU as a visiting research scholar.
