Greater Huntsville Section

Hello Fellow AIAA Fellow Members,

We are rebuilding our section after COVID.  Our goal is to have one presentation a month.  We also support many STEM activities, like the recent STEMfest.

We are planning our upcoming events, we would like to hear from you.  I have a few questions for you.  Of course you can response here, but an email is preferable to  Terri.Tramel.AIAA@gmail.com.

1) Do you prefer in person presentations, online presentations, or watching the videos? Or a combination of formats?

2) National AIAA would like us to do technical, Young Professional, STEM, visit student chapters, and networking activities.  So far this year we have had all types of the required activities.  What type of activities would you like to see more of?  For example, in the past we have had Trivia night.  Would you like to see more social activities, company tours, or something I am not listing?

3) Is there a particular topic you would like to see at an upcoming GHS meeting?  Do you know someone who would be an ideal presenter?

4) Would you be interested in visiting and talking with one (or more) of our Student Chapters?  GHS is unique in that we have 10 Student Chapters, in one and 1/2 states.  We have a 7 hour drive radius for all our Student Chapters.  If you can't be there is person, would you be willing to do a Zoom meeting with a Chapter, maybe talk about your experiences?
