Tom Hancock is the I&T lead for the Space Development Agency. Responsible for the Integration and test of 126 Spacecraft and 2 ground systems. Mr. Hancock is a system engineering and software subject matter expert. His past experiences includes supporting the Missile Defense Agency, software and systems development for the Space Shuttle, NASA’s Deep Space Network, Galileo Jupiter mission, classified programs, Artificial Intelligence systems for aircraft and spacecraft, Mobile ICBMs, crewed payload operations, US and ESA elements of the International Space Station, James Webb Space Telescope, many small spacecraft science missions, aircraft, helicopters, C3I/C4I/C2BMC systems and launch vehicle development (Ares I and V). He has 40 + years of experience and is a published author (technical papers and books). Mr. Hancock developed and flew 3 experiments on two different space shuttle missions dealing with cosmic ray and microgravity research. In 2014 he was awarded a NASA Distinguished Public Service medal for his contributions to the US space program.
