Dr. William 'Bill' Coirier is Vice President and Senior Scientist of the Aerosciences Division at Kratos Defense and Rocket Support Services, Inc. Dr. Coirier received his Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Michigan and his MS & BS in Aeronautical & Astronautical Engineering from The Ohio State University. This talk summaries highly-resolved Detached Eddy Simulation results for the aero-optical performance of two notional turret designs across subsonic, transonic, and supersonic flow field regimes.
