Satellite 101andHow to Build Successful Work Relations in Early Career for Young Professionals
This introductory lecture on satellites is aimed at providing a basic understanding on the typical lifecycle of a space vehicle. In addition building successful interdepartmental and customer connections will be discussed. Then a technical overview of major systems followed by topics such as what considerations are taken into account during design, steps in a production lifecycle and finally launch site operations from shipment to post launch operations.

I am the founder of DIBASHI Consulting LLC, a consulting firm that assists private ventures, government organizations and higher learning foundations with top to bottom technical and program management expertise in space based productions.
Before devoting my work full-time to DIBASHI Consulting, I served a multitude of roles with the last being innovative Engineering Strategist at a leading Fortune 500 aerospace organization whose customers include private enterprises and various government organizations like NASA.
I have over 20 years of experience in the Astronautical Engineering field and built my brand on being able to create the impossible.
In addition to being a passionate engineer, I am an advocate of educating the next generation of engineers through outreach events at universities and various other learning institutions.

Courtney is currently a Systems Engineer within Space and Launch at Boeing, working on the Starliner commercial crew program and in-orbit testing of satellite payload communications. (Boeing Satellite Systems, Propulsion Systems Engineering // Satellite Systems Engineering Rotation)
Courtney received a bachelor's degree in Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering at Purdue University, and I am currently pursuing a master's in Astronautical Engineering at the University of Southern California (USC).
Courtney interned at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory as a Mission Systems Engineer working on New Frontiers and Discovery mission proposals for robotic exploration of the solar system. I also interned at the NASA Goddard Space Flight Center as a Propulsion Engineer working on the Restore-L mission to service a satellite in Low Earth Orbit.
