Experimental Sounding Rocket Association (ESRA)
About Us
Experimental Sounding Rocket Association (ESRA) is run by dedicated rocket lovers who want to get their hands dirty and learn about liquid propellant rockets. We do everything from designing to manufacturing. Most sections of ESRA’s rockets are made in house by students with some help of machine shop faculties. Students have limited opportunities in classroom environments, and motivated engineers are nowhere near satisfied. This is why ESRA is here. ESRA’s goal is to provide a friendly and fun environment where students can get real world industry experience. Although members are mostly engineers, they are challenged with financial, organization and deadline issues. ESRA members know how to work with each other to get to the goal efficiently and accurately.
