Caite Beck works for Northrop Grumman as a Principal Structural Design Engineer in the Metal Structures, Seals and Joints group in Promontory, Utah. Originally from Houston, Texas, Caite obtained her B.S. in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2016. After graduating, she moved to Ogden, Utah where she began working for Northrop Grumman as a Procurement Quality Engineer supporting the Space Launch System, OmegA, GEM63/XL/XLT and 2.75" Flares programs. After being in that role for 2.5 years, she transitioned to her current role where she primarily designs metal hardware for the Booster Obsolescence Life Extension (BOLE) program. Caite obtained her MSE with a concentration in Aeronautics and Astronautics from Purdue University in 2019, and is currently pursuing her MBA from Indiana University.
She is the current chair for the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA) Utah Section, and is the treasurer for the Utah Engineers Council (UEC). In her free time, she volunteers as a member of the Junior League of Ogden, and enjoys taking advantage of all the outdoor activities that Utah has to offer.
