I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Maine and Director of the AeroSystems Dynamics Laboratory. My research focuses on aerodynamics, flight dynamics and control, UAV systems, and experimental methods for flow diagnostics. My work integrates computational and experimental approaches, including CFD, wind tunnel testing, and data-driven modeling, with applications in aerospace systems and bio-inspired flight.
I am actively involved in research related to advanced UAV design, harsh-environment operations, and innovative sensing techniques. I am also engaged with NASA-related research initiatives and interdisciplinary collaborations.
Outside of work, I enjoy mentoring students, developing hands-on aerospace projects, and exploring new ideas at the intersection of engineering and real-world applications.
