  • Volunteer Opportunity at the Valiant Air Command Warbird Museum!

    image

The AIAA Cape Canaveral Section is excited to share a fun volunteer opportunity with our members!

If you've been looking for a hands-on way to support our local aviation community, consider volunteering at the Warbird Museum by helping wash and care for the museum's historic aircraft. It's a great way to spend time around these incredible airplanes, meet fellow aviation enthusiasts, and help preserve aviation history.

Volunteers are welcome any day of the week. To get involved, contact Fred Brown or Chris Drew at the museum during the weekdays (Wednesdays are typically the best day to reach them). You can also contact the AIAA Cape Canaveral Section Volunteer Coordinator, Kendra Mobley, at kemobley1@gmail.com for additional information, volunteer coordination, or questions about getting involved.

Whether you're a longtime volunteer or looking for your first opportunity to get involved, we'd love to see our AIAA Cape Canaveral members lend a hand. Come out, have some fun, and help keep these historic aircraft shining!

Calling all AIAA Cape Canaveral Section members!
The Valiant Air Command is looking for volunteers to help with its July 4th celebration and Titusville Independence Day Parade, commemorating America's 250th birthday.
    Volunteer opportunities include:
    • Helping decorate and support the parade float
    • Walking alongside the float during the parade
    • Assisting with museum activities throughout the day
    • Greeting visitors and answering questions about aircraft
    • Helping with food service, bake sale, cake, simulator activities, and other family-friendly events
    Date: Saturday, July 4
Time: Volunteer opportunities begin as early as 7:00 AM (parade prep), with museum activities running from 9:00 AM–5:00 PM. Even a few hours of your time would make a difference.
This is a great opportunity to support one of our local aerospace and aviation partners while helping the community celebrate Independence Day.
If you're interested or available to help, please reply to the Facebook post or message me through Engage to get connected with the volunteer coordinator. Thank you for considering supporting this event!
