Zone Concepts in eVTOL and Personal Transportation Systems

The speaker would present a bit about Active Sound Design, headrest mounted speakers, ANC, etc. and how it can be used to shape the experience of transportation, and how communication in the cabin should be considered as well. In some cases, we are looking for ease of communication between seat locations (to promote, say, dialogue and teamwork) and other times we want to emphasize privacy for external communications (phone calls). For both of those situations there is a suitable metric with roots in human hearing and psychoacoustics that is very suitable for this.
